What do you think about these comments from McCain?

McCain was speaking the other day, in part about Iran, and international sanctions against them... A reporter asked what he thought about the $150,000,000 in Cigarettes exported to Iran over the last few years. McCain replied: Maybe we can kill them that way! Only after Cindy McCain nudged him in the side, did he backtrack and advise he was only joking...
