Should I add another rat when I get another cage?

If you get another rat, it may be left out, especially if the two you currently have are well bonded. I would get them the Critter Nation cage, especially if your getting the really big one. Martin's Cages are good also, and you can get lots of different sizes. So what ever you prefer.
