New Years Resolution Runners?

What I'd like to know is why these runners who start up as resolution runners are out there in their designer gear and acting snotty, meanwhile come the real tough winter, wimp out. They bug me bc they undermine all the work I put in year round and give us regular runners a bad name! Why do they act so snotty? Do they bug you as much as they bug me?
