Giant meteor might hit earth in 2035?

ok there is suppose to be a giant meteor coming so close to the earth that it will dip under certain satellites ( correct me if im wrong im not 100% ) definitely between the moon and earth though and if it hits a 600 meter key whole it will impact Earth in 2035 now there have been discussions on how to get rid of this threat if the meteor about the 350Ms long if it goes through the key whole. the most interesting i have heard is setting a rocket on the side and adding pulse thrusters so when the gravitate towards each other the pulse thrusters will stop it from getting to close so it will change the meteors orbit. ok the meteor or asteroid cant remember which one is called Apps named after the Egyptian god of death so if you want to look. i want to here your opions this whole situation
